(e.g. PC Financial and ING Direct in Canada) where you get free chequeing, free debit card swiping, and an interest rate on your savings which can be as much as 8 times the regular big banks rates (without the big bank fees).\u00a0 This way you save when you write cheques and also save the 30 \u2013 60 cents fee per debit card swipe transaction that the other banks charge when you go over a
